Not exactly a Graphic Design Internship, but you could always make it into a position where you use your design skills along with marketing. It sounds like they want someone who is willing to take charge on many levels. Even the Executive Director, Brenda Galina thought someone from your class would be terrific. As you already know
Graphic Design and Marketing are related on so many levels that this position could be very interesting. A good mix of design, marketing and advertising it sounds like.
MODA Internship
MARKETING:
The intern in Marketing will work closely with the Museum's Executive Director, Director of Operations, and Public Relations Consultant in the coordination and execution of various marketing efforts and events to increase awareness of the Museum to the public and specific design communities. The efforts include but are not limited to maintaining MODA's social networks outlets, designing and distributing e- blasts to our mailing lists, and keeping all Museum information and exhibitions listings up- to- date.
