ABOUT NEW YORK FESTIVALS
The New York Festivals International Television & Film Awards recognize "The World's Best Work" in news, documentary, information and entertainment programming as well as in music videos, infomercials, promotion spots, openings and ID's. Now entering its 53rd year, the total number of entries continues to grow, now representing over 30 different countries, making the NYF Television & Film Awards one of the most well known and widely respected competitions on the globe.

STUDENT CATEGORIES EXPANDED
To encourage the next generation of storytellers, NY Festivals now has eight categories for student-generated programming on all platforms. To be eligible for the 2010 competition, entries must have been first produced, released, aired or shown online between September 1, 2008 and November 16, 2009.

The Final Deadline to enter is December 1st, 2009.
